Celebrating an Impactful 2025!

2025 has been an incredible year for Sacramento Venture Philanthropy (SVP)! Being part of SVP means more than supporting local nonprofits. It is about building a connected, engaged, and collaborative ecosystem where leaders, organizations, and partners work together to strengthen the Sacramento Region. Thanks to our partners' time, expertise, and generosity, this year has been one of our most successful yet.

Fast Pitch Success

One of the major highlights of the year was the 10th Annual Fast Pitch. This milestone event raised $262,743 for 16 outstanding nonprofits. Fast Pitch is Sacramento’s premier platform for helping nonprofits tell their story, gain visibility, and connect with resources that accelerate their impact. SVP Partners were central to this success, providing one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and guidance to help each organization deliver a compelling three-minute pitch. Beyond the funding, Fast Pitch strengthens connections, builds confidence, and amplifies the work of nonprofits across the region.

Strategic Accelerator Grants

The 2025 SVP Partner Fund also invested $75,000 in three organizations through our Accelerator Grant program. The Alliance, Yolo Community Foundation, and Neighborhood Wellness each received $25,000 to strengthen leadership, systems, and infrastructure. These investments help nonprofits build sustainable operations and prepare for long-term growth.

Hands-On Engagement and Collective Learning

SVP Partners dedicated more than 700 hours supporting Think Tank, Fast Pitch coaching, Grub for Good tours, and more. These experiences are what make SVP unique. Our Think Tank program brought partners and nonprofit leaders together to solve pressing challenges and design practical solutions. Grub for Good tours provided front-row insights into organizations such as Women’s Empowerment, Sacramento Splash, 916 Ink, CCHAT Center, and City Year Sacramento. Partners gained deeper understanding, built relationships, and discovered new opportunities to support nonprofits across the region.

Growing Collective Impact

In total, SVP supported 40 organizations in 2025. Each interaction strengthens the nonprofit ecosystem and expands the reach of our collective impact in education, health, youth development, housing, and community wellbeing.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We are excited to build on this momentum in 2026! Together, we will continue to strengthen leaders and invest in change across the Sacramento Region.
