Kids Putting Their Own Twist on SVP
Our Mission is to...
Facilitate community engagement in kids in the Greater Sacramento Area while motivating youth to serve underresourced communities.
A Few of Our Projects
Soil Born Farms
We got our hands dirty as we churned and moved composting piles; then we took a tour and learned about different agricultural aspects that allow Soil Born to thrive.
Sacramento Food Bank
Working an assembly line, each SVP Kid was assigned a food item to fill hundreds of boxes to supply students in-need with lunches.
SVP Fast Pitch Fundraiser
Hosting a bake "sale", we offered cookies for free to event attendees and accepted donations. We donated $250 to Kelli's Cookies for all the cookies and were blown away by the generosity of the attendees as we raised over $600.
Underground Clothing
We organized, sorted, and restocked a clothing "store" that offers free clothing for families in need.
American River Clean Up
Kicking 2023 off with a bang, we went out to the American River to clean up from the flood, and ended up cleaning a former homeless camp.
