Our Investee Portfolio

To create large-scale social change, we need a focused collective impact approach that includes structured cross sector collaboration with shared goals and shared measurements. SVP Sacramento has the talent and resources to catalyze, nurture, and cultivate community transformation—beginning with education and workforce development.

Sacramento acknowledges that it has a huge problem with student achievement. We can see this with poor high school graduation rates as well as Sacramento falling below the state average in which California ranks 41st in the nation for K-12 education. SVP Sacramento has decided that we are going to align our Investee Portfolio in an effort to “ensure that every kid in the Greater Sacramento Region graduates high school and is on a clear pathway to ‘above’ living wage job.”
